My soil Microorganisms
I have come to realize that it is important to have good microbial activity in the soil. I have instituted a program since mid-2014 adding some commercial microbial inoculations plus frequent small amounts of molasses, kelp and humic acid. The microbiological activity in my soil is really good, you would not expect it from a rocky Krome soil. But most important my trees look amazing and the carrier of Laurel Wilt does not like nice happy healthy trees.
From the same soil sample taken on January 30, 2016 I made the respiration rate test using the Solvita system and also did an extraction for the microscope. Both indicate high levels on Microorganisms. Thanks to www.solvita.com for bringing about this simple and inexpensive way to confirm soil microorganism activity.
