Not much on-line about this variety.
I just grafted two seedlings with this variety. it seems to be moving very slow. I'll probably take bud wood from these to top work a tree at the end of this year. More in the next few months.
04/01/2012: Both grafts failed. Will have to wait to try again next year
I did tried again with some difficulties in early 2014. Several grafts dies and only two single bud grafts took and finally in May 25, 2015 the tree looks like is growing well. Still small but on its way.
October 30, 2018: Finally I see two fruits on this tree. IT has grown a lot even though is overshadow by two large Monroe trees. The foliage on this tree is very particular the leaves curl down, it can be spotted from far away. Two fruits are hanging in the tree. This was supposed to be a late fruit. I will try to monitor to see when they drop. It is recovering well from the hurricane, may be it will surprise us next year.
